New Office Guidelines Regarding the Coronavirus
We are committed to doing our best in response to Coronavirus. Like everything now, this may change rapidly. Please “Follow” our Facebook page, and turn notifications on for our page. We will do our best to keep you updated. Unfortunately, we are obligated to make some changes to how we provide your care. We are doing our best to keep the schedule running efficiently and minimize our volume in the waiting room. To do that, we need your cooperation and understanding.
- Please call us if you have a cough, fever, aches, or any other concerns.
- We ask that you please come to your appointment alone.
- As difficult as it currently may be, please do your best to NOT bring children. Children may carry the virus, and not show symptoms.
- If you come with the person who drives you, please ask them to stay in the car.
- While we are providing necessary medical care, there will be circumstances when we can reschedule your appointment.
- We also encourage our patients at greatest risk (i.e. those over 70 years old) remain at home for now.
- If you aren’t sure what you should do, please call us at (607)729-5805.
Please remember, the goal of these measures is to help slow down the transmission of a disease that may be very serious for some people. As a society, we are trying to limit the number of those people requiring hospitalization at the same time. Fortunately, most of us will handle the infection with minor symptoms. As always, practice good hygiene by washing your hands regularly, try not to touch your face, cough into your elbow, don’t shake hands, and avoid crowds of 10 or more.
