Stop HERE before Back to School

Whether you are a teacher or a student or a mom sending your kids back to school, this time of year is always bittersweet. Check out our tips below for keeping your life on track while making the transition out of summer-mode.

And now that fall has arrived, take advantage of the most comfortable time of the year and GET OUTSIDE! For one or two short months, you don’t have to complain about how hot or how cold it is. Make the most of it!!

Also, do you follow us on pinterest? Don’t miss out on our ideas for local fall fun!

    Schooling you in Organization

If you feel overwhelmed with the transition out of summer-mode, you are not alone. You need to go to bed earlier and get more done during the waking hours so your mind races when you have downtime and you may feel like you can’t keep up! This is very common! And we have included a few simple suggestions for staying on top of things.

Consistency is key: Establishing a routine will familiarize you and your family with where and when everyone needs to be and what they need to do.

Everything should have a home. Throwing your bag or backpack on top of the mail and bills next to the stack of lunchboxes makes you feel overwhelmed just thinking about it. Dedicate a space to put everything. Keys. Bag. Phone. Lunch. You will save so much time and frustration looking for things.

Ask for help. Whether it is a friend, a family member, another parent at school, a coworker… you can’t expect someone to help you unless you ask. And the worst thing that could happen is they say no.
